Mastering CSS Text Shadows
The CSS text-shadow property accepts one or more shadow definitions, each consisting of offset-x, offset-y, blur-radius, and color. By stacking multiple shadows, you can create complex effects like neon glows, 3D text, and long shadows.
The syntax is: text-shadow: offset-x offset-y blur-radius color; For multiple shadows, separate each with a comma. Shadows are rendered back-to-front, with the first shadow on top.
Neon effects use zero offsets with large blur values and bright colors. 3D depth is achieved by stacking many small-offset shadows. Long shadows use progressively offset shadows with decreasing opacity.
